Building Cleaning Services is a Sydney based cleaning contractor founded in 1989 and specializing in office cleaning. We caught up Linda Appleford, BCS’ Founder & CEO, to hear her feedback on how the i-mop floor scrubber helps their cleaning operations.

What made you choose the i-mop?

We contacted i-team australia to buy a machine capable of scrubbing a large floor area for one of our VIP clients. We required a device to clean a large space, save time, provide consistent results every clean and fit in small spaces. From the onset they were very friendly and helpful and the product they offered to do the job was an i-mop . We checked out the market but found i-team partners to be the friendliest and most efficient in responding and knowing their products.

What have been the benefits of using the i-mop?

Allows us to cover a large area within a short amount of time. This devices also provides quality finish that we are unable to reach via manual mopping. We have been using it for now around 6 months and we are very happy with its performance. We have had no problems at all and It saves us hours of work and does the job really well. The cleaners are very happy with this machine.

What sort of areas or buildings (ie kitchens, bathrooms etc) and what types of floors do you clean with the i-mop?

Large open spaces, corridors, office spaces

How were you previously cleaning your floors? How does the i-mop compare?

Mop and bucket, i-mop provides consistent results, allows us to save time allocated to floor care

Do you use the i-mop yourself? If so, what is it that you like about it? If it is your staff, what do they like about it?

Yes, easy to handle, great in small spaces. It does leave a fine streak on the floor that requires a quick manual mop post the clean. This requires improvement. (i-team comment: This is caused by 1 of 2 things, either the i-mop squeegee rubbers require replacement, or there is debris caught in the squeegee)
