The i-mop Makes Cleaning Quick & Efficient For Ozcare Hervey Bay

Ozcare Aged Care Facility is located in the sunny Hervey Bay area of Queensland. Here’s what Louise LeCluse, the Client Services Manager, has to say about implementing i-mops for use within the facility.

Tell us a little bit the cleaning operations at Ozcare Hervey Bay?

We have 154 rooms, 11 dining rooms and many more spacious communal areas. There are 4 cleaners daily cleaning rooms and public areas.

Where did you first come across the i-mop? And what did you think?

We purchased the i-mop a few months ago after we were told another facility was using them and since then, we have only been grateful we purchased it. Such an amazing result.

What have been the benefits of using the i-mop?

Quick and efficient, job gets done right.

What sort of areas and types of floors do you clean with the i-mop?

Mainly vinyl floors in our 11 dining rooms . But we are also looking at cleaning rugged floor tiles as well once we get the correct brushes.

How were you previously cleaning your floors? How does the i-mop compare?

We had a floor scrubber that was not as efficient, not cleaning as good as the i-mop and also not reaching all areas compared to the i-mop.

What are the things you like most about the i-mop?

It looks great and the staff love using it. Very easy to use and the batteries last long enough to clean 3 dining rooms.

How well do you think the i-mop suits cleaning in the aged care environment?

It just does the job and maintains the floors as you would expect for the price. Would gladly try getting more for the facility. Keeps the dining room clean for the wellbeing of the clients in respect to hospitality rules.

A last story about the i-mop?

When we first received it and were getting trained, the staff said it looks a bit like ET from the movie, do you think it can fly?? 😊
