What is your role at The Aquatic Educators?

I am the company director, but am hands on and involved in all aspects of the business, from front counter, to teaching and cleaning duties.

And what made you choose the i-mop floor scrubber?

I have been investigating alternate options to the traditional mop and bucket for a long time, however our situation is difficult as we are a swim school, and need something easy to use, completely mobile, leaves the floors extremely dry, and can also fully scrub and battery operated so that it can be used whilst the centre is open and while customers are on site. The i-mop meets all of these requirements and so much more.

What have been the benefits of cleaning with the i-mop?

Our floors have honestly, never been cleaner. We mop our floors at least ½ hourly due to water being left on the floors from parents exiting the pool. Our customers love it, our staff love it, and our costs have gone down in regards to the constant replacement of mop heads and cleaning products.

How often does the i-mop get used and how large an area does it clean?

Our i-mop is used at a minimum of ½ hourly, right through the day during our open hours. The floor area that is cleaned is approximately 100m2.

How were you previously cleaning your floors? How does the i-mop compare?

Traditional mop and bucket. There is no comparison to the i-mop .

How easy has it been for staff using the i-mop? Any challenges?

Our staff absolutely love “Niles” our i-mop . We affectionately named it after the butler in “The Nanny”. Niles is love by our staff, and our customers. It has made cleaning the floors a breeze, and the floors look amazing.

How well do you think the i-mop suits cleaning in an aquatic facility?

It is literally, our best friend. It is perfect for our centre. We honestly adore our i-mop. I wish that I had found it years earlier.
