We caught up with Hannah Crowley-McClelland, Chief Operating Officer at Luxxe Housekeeping, to review how the i-mop has gone at the Rydges Hotel in Canberra.

Tell us a little bit about Luxxe Housekeeping – what do you do and what makes Luxxe special?

LUXXE is an Australian owned boutique provider of full service outsourced housekeeping services to hotels within Australia. Housekeeping is our specialty and our team is made up of housekeeping professionals and hoteliers with the sole passion of amazing customer service and high levels of consistent quality.

What made Luxxe choose i-mop floor scrubbers?

We trialed the i-mop at a QLD hotel property and were impressed with the overall output of the machine and how much time it saved our team doing the same job manually.

What have been the benefits of using the i-mop?

What sort of areas (ie kitchens, bathrooms etc) and what types of floors do you clean with the i-mop?

We are using the i-mop across all public areas (tiled, hybrid and concrete floors) and also on the tiled pool areas and back of house linoleum areas.

Manually with a mop and bucket.
