The i-mop Delivers Noticeable Cleaning Results At Halo Apartments
Share:
''The i-mop would not only scrub the stains out but would leave it much dryer than a normal mop because it would squeegee and suck up the excess solution.''
We caught up with Alim, Building Manager at Halo Apartments in St Kilda , Melbourne, for his experiences with implementing the i-mop for the hard floor cleaning within the apartment complex.
Tell us a little bit about Halo Apartments – your location, what sort of accommodation you offer, and number of residencies?
Halo apartments is located on Fitzroy st St Kilda, opposite Albert park parks and lake. It has 155 units with the majority of them being permanent residences.
And what is your role and responsibilities?
Building manager, Office duties, maintenance and cleaning along with managering contractors that come on site.
Where and when did you first come across the i-mop floor cleaning machine? How did this come about?
I had been struggling with cleaning the coarse tiles that we have and I was looking for a floor scrubber that was smaller and easier to use than the big bulky one we had. I requested options from a number of suppliers and was offered the i-mop.
What were your first impressions when you saw the i-mop in action?
I was totally impressed and was sold on the idea immediately.
And what have been the benefits of using the i-mop for the floor cleaning at Halo apartments?
The major benefit is that I am able to do the floors on a more frequent basis because of its nimbleness and also its easier on my back.
Has there been any noticeable differences to the floors since you began using the i-mop?
The appearance is more noticeably cleaner as it also sucks up the solution as you scrub.
How were you previously cleaning the floors in your apartments? How does the i-mop compare?
I have been using a traditional mop which would leave a film of fluff when it dried out and really wouldn’t remove the stains on the coarse tiles. The i-mop would not only scrub the stains out but would leave it much dryer than a normal mop because it would squeegee and suck up the excess solution.
What do you or your staff like the most about using the i-mop floor scrubber?
The compactness, lightness and how good it scrubs without leaving the floors fully wet.

Would you recommend the i-mop to other apartment buildings? Why?
I totally would recommend it to anyone for the above reasons.
