Tell us a little bit about Select Floorcraft – the history, what you do and how you do it?

The Director of Select Floorcraft, Benjamin Holness, has been in the Flooring Industry for over 20 years. He was raised in Derbyshire, England, where he began his apprenticeship in the Flooring Industry and worked within some of the leading flooring businesses in Derbyshire. Benjamin’s passion grew in the flooring industry and from this, he developed and established his own business in East Midlands, England, where he grew to be very successful. Benjamin wanted to fulfil his dream of working abroad, so he decided to bring his exceptional skills and knowledge to Australia. In 2012, he moved out of England to base himself in Melbourne and after working with two different Flooring Companies, he decided to establish his very own business, Select Floorcraft. With his flooring experience expanding over 20 years, Benjamin is a very passionate and knowledgeable worker who strives to build professional relationships with his clients to ensure he caters to their requirements. What made you decide to buy an i-mop floor scrubber?

After installing floorcoverings for a long time, I was repeatedly asked what the best way of cleaning vinyl was. After a lot of research and speaking with Altro Apac Pty Ltd who was using the i-mop also it was clear that i-mop was the solution.

You obviously do a wide range of flooring services, what is your main use for the i-mop?

I mainly provide a flooring installation service but also help clients with cleaning and re-sealing vinyl. On some projects we install new vinyl on site and then also clean existing vinyl areas to tidy up projects on a budget where all vinyl can’t be replaced.

What have been the benefits of using the i-mop?

The easy and fast time it takes to make vinyl clean and new again. Cleans heavy marks, glue stains and removes heavy dirt easily

Are there any particular applications that you have found that really suit the i-mop?

The brushes work so good on any safety vinyl and clean it effortlessly.
